This project was formulated at the Thematic Comenius Seminar held in Candás, Asturias 5th - 8th June, 1997. Initially, the project involved three countries - Denmark, Belgium (Flanders) and Great Britain (Wales) but it is hoped that this will be extended to include partners from Norway and Spain. We will make comparisons between the countries based on a number of subsections including:
Historical Perspectives
Economics (unemployment, type of employment, social statistics, social security)
Tourism
Students (of the age range 14 - 16) will produce comparative case studies of the areas using new and innovative technologies with a strong emphasis on Information and Communication technology.
