Introduction to our website

A Brief Website History

This site was first created in January 1997 by the three people who designed this one. We used Microsoft Publisher 97 to create our 14 page site which in total was 1.3 meg in size and hosted at Edex.
Revision 1 of the website
St Cenydd Web Site number one- Completely static, no Java or Animated GIF's.

Since then web technology has moved on at an astounding rate, we felt that it was also time for us also to move on and we purchased Microsoft FrontPage97, St Cenydd School Online revision 2 was born in July 1997.

With the developments in Java, ActiveX, Frames and DynamicHTML we felt that yet again it was time for us to improve our site using some of these latest technologies.
We purchased Microsoft FrontPage 98 and on 20th December 1997 St Cenydd School Online revision 3 was born at our new domain name.

So here we are the third revision of the site. It seems to us that every time we create a site we are absolutely delighted with it, in a few months we look at it again and think this really needs freshening up. No matter how good the site looks and works it is never really up to date because of the phenomenal but exciting speed at which internet technology is developing.
